Small | Plastic | Grey, Yellow
A set of 6 1930s 40s vintage unique layered buttons in yellow and black and a form of plastic. The yellow center may be bakelite and the bottom is black grey shade. The tops are sculpted and carved.

They are approximately 3/4" long. About 1/2" wide.

I have dated these to 1940, but they may be earlier.
