1930s 40s Vintage Buttons Black and Yellow Plastic Set of 6

A set of 6 unique buttons in a form of plastic. The yellow center may be bakelte and the bottom is black grey shade. The tops are sculpted and carved.

They are approximately 3/4" long. About 1/2" wide.

I have dated these to 1940, but they may be earlier.
Please note you are getting Six buttons as a set

In excellent condition.

They remind me of licorice candy pieces.
