vintage 50s suit jacket with mink fur collar

Superbly tailored late 1950s vintage suit jacket with a genuine mink fur collar. A pinkish tan 100 % wool boucle with bracelet length sleeves and giant buttons for added interest. A short hip length jacket with a crepe lining and lots of seaming for fitting. In very good condition with one small moth hole in the back. A size small.

This jacket is very well made and fitted with the front and back seaming details and fun buttons. A slightly boxy 50s shape with top stitched double seaming in the front and along the back in a U shape. It is completely lined with rayon crepe fabric and is stain free. The mink collar is detachable. Bust to 38" waist to 33" and bottom high hip area 37". The previous owner added a snap closure at the waist which I would recommend removing if you plan to wear it open.

1960 vintage wool jacket suit patulla jo copelandge}

1960s vintage Pattullo Jo Copeland designer suit jacket in a fine black wool with a moire ribbon collar and hem accents. A boxy Jackie O style with a tie collar and large black button. Beautiful hot pink thin silk lining. In very fine condition but with overall reddish fading of the ribbon giving it a uniform color. A size small.

Very good workmanship makes this jacket look and fit fabulously. A very fine wool jacket with a slightly boxy shape and 3/4 length sleeves. It fits looser at the top and more narrow at the hips and has some darting front and back. The wide moire collar ties giving it a scarf look. At the bottom of the hem is a band of the same wide ribbon. The ribbon has faded to a pinkish shade more obvious around the neck but if you didn't know better it would not be obvious that this is a flaw. Bust to 38 and hips to 36 1/2. .

A wonderfully seamed and fitted late 1950s light weight silk suit jacket. This fabulous jacket has a tiny nipped waist and hip pockets. The gathered bust makes for an hour glass figure. A slubby silk fabric with tiny buttons and short sleeves. A size small in great condition.

This jacket has eveything associated with the 50s to it. The side seaming, darts and gathered bust makes anyones figure look perfect. It is a shorter hip length and has small horizontal pockets to draw attention to the hips. It has short cuffed sleeves and a stand up collar. Unlined lightweight material. A very tiny tear at the left side where it looks like a belt loop may have been. Also missing a snap at the top 3" above the top button. No stains or marks. A small size. Bust 34, waist 30 and hips 35. You should not be any larger for this to fit correctly as it is meant to be worn closed.

This Lucy style knee length swing coat has good strong padded shoulders and wide bell sleeves with cuffs. It buttons higher with three silver tone buttons so it can swing away from the body to accomodate the wider 1950s skirts. It has large fake patch pockets that have side slits. A small to medium size. A beautiful high style four piece skirt suit with couture details. the first jacket has 3/4 sleeves with an unusual neck closure. It has two ties that wrap around and button on either shoulder giving it a high neck effect. The body is loose and cropped and goes to the waist. The other jacket is shorter and is loose with the same 3/4 sleeves. Both have the sloped shoulders of the era. It has covered buttons and a lower round neck. Both jackets are lined in silk and with some hand stitching. The blouse is a deep taupe colored silk with short sleevs and it buttons up the back. The skirt is straight and partially lined. The skirt has the most small holes and a few spots. Bust on jackets and blouse is to 38". The skirt waist is 31" and has been made larger. The skirt hips are to 38".

1960s vintage 4 piece copper wool suit

A gorgeous 1960s vintage four piece golden copper colored wool vintage suit with a slipper satin blouse. This Jackie O style vintage designer detailed suit features a shorter boxy jacket, a slimmer knee length skirt, a silk high neck blouse and the wonderfully designed cropped top. The unique cropped top buttons down the back and has a scalloped bottom and a wider neck. All the wool pieces are lined with the beautiful silk as the blouse. A size small to medium in good condition with only a few tiny moth marks. Made and designed by a very talented dress maker with lots of hand stitching. Blouse stock # 12070B coordinates with this suit.

The true color of this suit is a pretty golden coppery color and is made of a very fine thin slubby wool. The jacket is boxy and has shorter bracelet length sleeves and it doesn't close. A bolero style. The skirt is knee length and is straighter shape. The short scalloped edge top is the best part of the suit as it is so different. It is shorter and stops above the waist. It has a boatneck and a wider looser body. The blouse is fitted with short sleeves and has a high neck and pearl buttons. This suit is not perfect and has a few tiny moth marks on the jacket and top of sleeves. Stunning classic high style vintage suit. Bust on all jackets and blouse is 38". Skirt waist is 31" and hips to 38".

A wonderfully styled 1940s cape with huge shoulder pads and that Joan Crawford look. The shoulders has a seamed piece on the edge accenting the wide pads. The most obvious damage is to the collar. Add another or cover it up and it will not show. Some holes to the shoulders. The left the most. Not seen if worn over the color. Or possibly repair. The fabric of this black vintage jacket is quite unusual. It is a crochet type material with woven black ribbon in an X pattern. The jacket is a very boxy 50s shape with regular length sleeves. The edges of the jacket are bound with black tape and the collar is a very soft luxurious fake fur. The sleeveless shell has a back zipper and matches the jacket perfectly. By Capri Original.
