1940's vintage tiny round black tilt hat in straw and velvet with a back band and the original veil. Sometimes referred to as a doll size hat.

This little vintage forties hat is meant to sit forward on the head and at an angle.
It is made of shiny straw and it has a small crown that has a band of black velvet with a bow in the back.
The back circle band is black velvet also.

The kind seen in all the old 40s movies and catalogs.
This little vintage hat could be dresses up with feathers, flowers or other trim if you like.

CONDITION
In very good condition except for the veil which is torn. It can be removed. There is a small a dent in the front which shows in the photos. This can be steamed out and put back in shape. It will come stuffed with tissue to retain it shape. Sold as is because of this.

A vintage hat hint: labels always go to the back of the head.
