A deep dark brown velvet vintage 1940s tilt Hollywood style tiny hat with a huge peachy cream flower spray and ribbon band back. One of those small doll hat of the forties era.

It is a small velvet cap shape with a point in the back and it has a wide brown grosgrain ribbon in the back that goes under your hairdo.
The edge is bound in grosgrain ribbon and wire is inserted to make it bendable.
It is lined in fabric and it has a wide inner brown hatband.

This forties vintage hat is meant to be worn tilted slightly forward on the head. The back band then holds it onto your head.

The flower on this small hat is a huge spray of creamy peach camelia like flowers that cover most of the hat. These are silk like vintage millinery flowers from the era.

The label is missing but I suspect it was a New York Creations by the size of the remnant.

In very good condition. The flowers should be steamed to perk the petals up though.

A fun hat to wear to vintage 1940s events or just to make statement.
